This series of images came about during a slow time in my animation work. As I have a habit of doing when not working on any projects, I create a project for myself. Though these images are almost 3 years old now, they not only represent a major leap forward in my own abilities over previous works, they are just nice to look at.

The stonework, earth and marble image maps used were downloaded from the internet years ago, and sadly I no longer remember where I got them from. My apologies and thanks to the artists behind these three amazing images.

The floor tile is an image I created in Deluxe Paint and touched up in Photoshop. The overall ceiling image map was created by measuring the rectangular dimensions of the ceiling, and rendering a scene with an earth object, stars and two lens flares where the columns were to be placed. I used the formula of one image pixel per centimeter of ceiling, making for an enormous, but detailed, image map.
